Mission: Memories of God
all_usernames_have_been_taken has put up a really good post written by John Piper about Scripture memorisation. I had neglected the discipline of Scripture memorisation but the post has reminded me of its importance. So... I've decided to start memorising Scripture verses again. I'll be posting on the process and my progress and will share on the verses I've newly memorised. (I may be a bit slow at first... bear with me.)
Join me on this 'mission' if you're interested too! I believe we'll be duly rewarded.

You know, so often we think of kids in Sunday school memorizing Bible verses. When we "grow up", we forget how important it is to keep the Word of God close to our hearts. I'll definitely join you on this project. :)
@pinksunfiredragon - Yay! This is exciting! Now we are a group of four memorizing scripture purposefully in order to glorify God and become stronger in our faith! Can't wait to see how it goes :D
I am praying for you anyone to he needs for the lord to move in there life for any reasons.
@pinksunfiredragon - @all_usernames_have_been_taken - Hurray! Maybe we can start a movement and stop the 'epidemic' of Christians who have no idea what is in, or not, in the Bible. It annoys me to no end when someone tells me a Christian 'cliche' to 'comfort' me when I know that it's not in the Bible, it's more a feelgood cliche.
@pwoods2686 - Thanks Patrick. You are so sweet.
cool, i'll give it a go, but i'm really slack usually and give u =(
@amyetta619@xanga - Absolutely give it a shot! Do what you can...
